The handsome, Pirate, brother to Syn. He was blind in one eye from 10 days old. I had homed him with people who I thought were good, but years later, I found him advertised for sale on Gumtree by some other person. The original owners had got rid of him and then these second people were selling him. Friends, James and Kim, got the money and went and paid for him so I could get him back. They eventually became his forever home.

I have always loved this one of Ripley when we first moved to the Blue Mountains.

This broke my heart. Ripley had an aggressive mast cell tumour removed, underwent chemo but died about 4 months later from cancer of her internal organs. I've never recovered from her loss.
